Intent-based human matching

Meet fewer people, for clearer reasons

An endless queue makes people feel replaceable. Soul Circle takes a different approach: a small daily set of real people, a visible reason for each suggestion, and a request gate before any private conversation opens.

Direct answer

Soul Circle is Soul Yatri’s intentional matching surface for friendship, peer support, mentorship, event plans and other explicitly selected connection goals. Suggestions use mutual intent, shared context and safety preferences. A suggestion does not open a direct message: one person sends a request and the other person chooses whether to accept.

What the product actually does

01

A limited daily batch, not infinite swiping

Soul Circle persists a daily batch with ranked candidates and an expiry path instead of presenting a bottomless feed. The product can distinguish one deeper match, lighter possibilities, event-oriented matches and people with similar intent.

02

The reason for a suggestion stays visible

Candidate records carry reason tags and an introduction prompt. Shared goals, interests, location, prompts and selected intents can inform the suggestion, but the user should still treat the match as an invitation to learn—not proof of compatibility.

03

Private messages begin with permission

The message gate is a request. Sending interest does not silently open a direct-message channel. The receiving person can accept or decline, preserving a clear moment of mutual choice before a conversation moves forward.

04

Dismiss, block and report remain first-class actions

Every candidate can be dismissed for the batch, blocked from discovery, or reported for safety review. Existing blocks and privacy visibility settings are considered when candidates are assembled so discovery does not override a person’s boundaries.

How it works

A clear path, with the human still in control.

  1. 1

Select the intent you actually want

Friendship, peer support, mentorship and an event companion are different requests. Soul Circle begins by making intent visible rather than forcing every connection into dating language or leaving the other person to guess.

  2. 2

    Review a small, reasoned set

Look at the person’s visible profile context, the shared-intent explanation and the proposed opener. A ranked suggestion is not a command. Dismiss it when the fit is unclear and keep the batch deliberately small.

  3. 3

Send a request, then wait for consent

Edit the introduction in your own voice, send a request and allow the other person to decide. Only an accepted request should become a direct conversation. No response is not consent and should not trigger repeated contact.

Safety and product boundary

Connection requires mutual intent and adult-safety rules

Sensitive intents receive stricter checks. The matching service considers adult status, mutual intent and both people’s safety settings before permitting dating or other adult-only categories. Explicit-content preferences can suppress a match. Soul Circle still cannot verify character or guarantee offline safety, so first meetings should stay public, time-bounded and easy to leave.

  • No infinite feed, follower-count contest or pressure to collect the largest possible network.
  • No automatic direct message: a request stays gated until the other person accepts.
  • No sensitive-intent match without mutual intent, adult checks and compatible safety settings.
  • No discovery override for people who are blocked, already connected or hidden by privacy controls.
  • No claim that a compatibility score proves trust, chemistry, safety or a future relationship.

Where it can help

Make meaningful friends

Find people with overlapping interests, goals or life context when the goal is conversation and friendship rather than performance or follower growth.

Find peer or mentor support

Connect around an explicit support or learning intent while keeping professional, therapeutic and personal roles clearly labelled.

Plan a public activity

Use an event-buddy intent for a concert, workshop, café, walk or community plan, then agree on public logistics and personal safety before meeting.

Common questions

Read the boundaries before the promise.

Is Soul Circle a dating app?
Soul Circle supports several explicit intents, including friendship, peer support, mentorship and events. Sensitive or romantic intents are separate and require mutual intent plus adult and safety checks; the product is not an endless swipe queue.
Can someone message me immediately after seeing my profile?
No direct conversation opens automatically. A candidate can send a message request, and the receiving person chooses whether to accept or decline before a private conversation begins.
Why am I seeing a particular person?
A suggestion can use shared intent, interests, goals, location, visible prompts and safety preferences. Reason tags help explain the suggestion, but they do not guarantee compatibility or trust.
What safety controls are available?
Users can dismiss a candidate, block a person, report a profile, control visibility and suppress sensitive intent categories. For offline meetings, use a public place, tell someone you trust and keep the first plan easy to leave.
