Soul Yatri policies & trust
Editorial Policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026
1. Who writes our content
Public guides and articles are written by the Soul Yatri Editorial Team and published under that name. Founders contribute signed perspectives on pillar guides, always with their name and role attached. We do not publish under invented personas, fake expert names, or stock-photo author profiles.
Our content is a non-expert editorial synthesis: carefully written, source-checked explainers — not clinical, medical, psychological, or Jyotish-expert review. Every wellness and astrology page that touches sensitive topics says this visibly, and this disclosure applies across the site unless a page explicitly names a qualified reviewer.
2. Sources and citations
- Factual health claims are checked against primary and authoritative sources — WHO, NIMH, CDC, NIDA, NIAAA, NHS, ACOG, government of India programmes such as Tele-MANAS, and peer-reviewed literature — and those sources are listed on the page.
- Articles show a real “sources checked” date. When a page is materially updated, its visible update date changes; we never display a shared placeholder date.
- Comparisons disclose that Soul Yatri is the author, preserve competitor strengths, and link official sources rather than invented ratings.
3. What we never publish
- No diagnosis, treatment promises, cure claims, or guaranteed outcomes.
- No fabricated reviews, ratings, testimonials, rankings, or user counts.
- No invented experts, credentials, or review boards.
- No deterministic astrology — predictions framed as certainty, fear-based dosha content, or guaranteed outcomes.
- No thin doorway pages generated to catch search traffic without serving the reader.
- No undisclosed advertising inside editorial content.
4. Sensitive topics (YMYL) handling
- Mental-health condition and struggle pages carry professional-care scope language and crisis routing, including Tele-MANAS 14416 (free, 24/7, India) and emergency 112.
- Addiction, weight, pregnancy, and hormone topics name their limits and escalation routes explicitly, and never offer detox, diet, or medical protocols.
- Sexual-health and compulsion content is written without explicit material, shame, or moralising, and routes compulsive behaviour to qualified professionals.
5. Corrections
If you spot an error — a wrong fact, a broken citation, an outdated claim — email [email protected] with the page URL and what is wrong. Corrections are reviewed against the primary source, applied to the page, and reflected in the page’s visible update date. Significant factual corrections are made within a few working days of verification.
6. Independence
Soul Yatri is funded by its founders and early supporters. Editorial recommendations are not sold, sponsored, or influenced by third parties. Where Soul Yatri products or services are mentioned inside editorial content, the relationship is the obvious one — it is our own site — and competitors are still described fairly with their strengths intact.
