The exceptions almost every calculator ignores

The same classical tradition that defines Nadi dosha also defines when it does not apply. The recognised cancellations: both partners share the same nakshatra but different padas; both share the same rashi with different nakshatras; or the rashi lords of the two Moon signs are mutual friends. A calculator that prints "Nadi dosha — remedies required" without checking any of these is reporting the rule while hiding its footnotes.

Every exception needs the full charts — pada, rashi and lords — which is why a nakshatra-only page cannot honestly issue a verdict, and ours do not. Our nakshatra pair pages state the Nadi result and name the exception question instead of pretending to answer it.

The honest position

Nadi's weight comes from a classical association between shared constitution and health-of-progeny concerns. That is the tradition's rationale — it is not a finding any modern study backs, and it cannot measure the things a marriage actually runs on. If a report shows Nadi dosha: check the exceptions with a full chart, treat the score as a prompt for a conversation rather than a verdict, and be suspicious of anyone whose first response is an expensive remedy. Fear is the product being sold there; the dosha is just the packaging.
