Download Soul Yatri Jyotish for Windows or macOS
Professional Vedic astrology on your desktop — local-first, transparent, and free to download.
Core calculations and local saves stay on-device by default · connected features are disclosed.
System requirements
- Windows: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). The current .exe is about 347 MB and the managed .msi about 418 MB; allow at least 1 GB free for installation, local data, and updates. The per-user installer normally needs no admin rights, but managed-device policy may differ.
- macOS: macOS 12 Monterey or newer — Apple Silicon (M1 and later) or Intel 64-bit. Current .dmg files are about 427–443 MB; allow at least 1 GB free for installation, local data, and updates.
- Internet: Required for the initial download, sign-in and entitlement, marketplace, real-time consultations, media uploads, opt-in cloud sync, and update checks or downloads. Core chart calculations, ephemeris work, and bundled floor-plan analysis can run locally once installed.
Installing
macOS
- Download the Apple Silicon or Intel .dmg only from the official release source.
- Open the .dmg and drag Soul Yatri Jyotish to Applications.
- The current build is not Apple-notarised. If Gatekeeper blocks it, stop and compare a checksum or signature published with that release. If none is available or you cannot verify it independently, wait for a notarised build or ask IT instead of overriding the protection.
Windows
- Download the .exe (or managed .msi) only from the official release source.
- The current installer is not signed with a recognised publisher certificate. If SmartScreen blocks it, stop and verify any checksum or signature published with that release. Do not override the protection when you cannot independently verify the file.
- On managed devices, ask IT to approve the package. After a verified, policy-approved install, launch Soul Yatri Jyotish from the Start menu.
Troubleshooting
Why can macOS say “damaged”, “Move to Bin”, or “cannot be verified”?
The current macOS build is not Apple-notarised, so Gatekeeper may be unable to verify it. That warning proves neither safety nor malware. Download only from the official release source and compare a published checksum or signature when one is provided. If you cannot independently verify the file, do not bypass Gatekeeper; wait for a notarised build or ask your IT administrator.
Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”.
The current installer is not signed with a recognised publisher certificate, so SmartScreen may be unable to establish publisher identity or reputation. The warning is not proof that the file is safe or malicious. Verify the official source and any checksum or signature published with that release; if you cannot verify it, do not bypass SmartScreen.
Is it really free, and does it need an account?
The current release is free to download, and core chart calculations can run locally after installation. Sign-in and entitlement, marketplace, real-time consultations, media uploads, opt-in cloud sync, and update checks or downloads require an account or internet connection as applicable.
Which file do I pick?
macOS: the standard .dmg on Apple Silicon (M1 or newer), or the Intel .dmg on older Intel Macs. Windows: the .exe installer (or the .msi for managed/admin installs).
