Capricorn (Makara), ruled by Saturn, is a earth sign. Your day is shaped by the Moon's transit over your rashi and the movement of Saturn. Check back for today's live gochar reading, or generate your full free kundali for a personalised view.
Capricorn (Makara) is a earth sign ruled by Saturn. As an element it builds slowly and holds on; steadiness that can turn into stubbornness. Its daily fortune is read from the Moon's transit through the twelve houses from your rashi, refined by the transits of the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Mercury, and Venus.
Saturn is your rashi lord, so it governs work, discipline, delay, endurance and everything earned slowly — and its transit colours your year more than any single day does. When Saturn is strong by transit, those areas move; when it is afflicted, they ask for patience. This is why two people of the same rashi can have very different years.
Vedic rashifal is read from your MOON sign — the rashi the Moon occupied at your birth — not the Sun sign most Western horoscopes use. The two are usually different. If you have been reading Capricorn because of your birth date alone, it may not be your rashi at all; a free kundali settles it in seconds.
Counted from your rashi: the 1st is body and mood, the 2nd money and speech, the 4th home and peace of mind, the 7th partnership, the 10th work and standing, and the 11th gains. The Moon crosses roughly one house every two and a quarter days, which is why a daily reading changes so quickly while a Saturn or Jupiter transit sets the tone for years.

A daily rashifal reads only your Moon sign. For a complete picture, generate your full free kundali (birth chart) or check marriage compatibility with Gun Milan.
Today's transit positions could not be computed, so this page shows general guidance for your rashi rather than a transit-based reading. A daily rashifal is general guidance for your rashi, not a substitute for a full chart reading.
